Color Makes a Comeback in R4 for 2013

There has been quite a bit of discussion about the new look for 2013. I have a client that raved about it, but I know of countless QuickBooks professionals who are extremely unhappy, so Intuit has listened and is beginning to address some of those concerns. So if you have 2013 and do not like the new look, you might like some of the adjustments. I will admit that while I’m not a fan of the new looks, such as field labels that were extremely hard to see, the white icons on a black background, and no way to visually separate company files, I have really liked having most tasks now only one click away instead of two or three. I find that it does help me be more productive while working in QuickBooks. So yes, even for pros such as myself, there is always room to improve and get work done faster! Continue reading
